A Friday Feature bonus leftover, as it didn’t fit the theme:
Grace Kelly, James Stewart and Alfred Hitchcock, the stars and director of Rear Window, being shown press photography equipment by L.A. Times photographer Phil Bath. Los Angeles, California. August 10th, 1954.
The camera Bath and Stewart is holding up appears to be the same that Stewart’s character uses in the film, an Exakta Varex VX with a Kilfitt Fern-Kilar 400mm ƒ/5.6 lens. This Exakta is something of a curiosity as it has the shutter release on the left side of the camera rather than the right.
